Most problems come from the phone's connection or settings, not Pixloud. Work through these in order.

The page is blank or keeps spinning

  1. Venue Wi-Fi often needs a log-in page first. Ask the guest to switch to mobile data and scan again.
  2. If they typed the code, check it at pixloud.app/join. Capitals and spaces don't matter.

"This event has not started accepting photos yet"

Your event is still in Draft. Set it to Active under Overview → Event Status.

"This event has ended"

The status is Ended. Set it back to Active if you want more posts.

"Sharing is paused"

Every type is switched off. Turn at least one back on under Guests → What Guests Can Share.

"You've shared the maximum"

The guest reached the per-guest limit. Raise it under Guests → Uploads per Guest.

The camera or microphone won't start

The phone blocked it for the website.

  • iPhone (Safari): tap aA in the address bar, then Website Settings, and allow Camera and Microphone.
  • Android (Chrome): tap the icon next to the web address, then Permissions, and allow Camera and Microphone.

The video won't send

Videos picked from the gallery can be up to 60 MB and 30 seconds. Recording inside the guest page keeps the file small.

The post was sent but isn't on the wall

That's normal: it's waiting for approval. Check Moderate. Videos and voice notes take a few seconds to process after they arrive.
