Draft, Active and Ended: open and close sharing

The event status controls whether guests can post. Change it under Overview → Event Status with the Draft, Active and Ended buttons.

What each status means

  • Draft: you're still setting up. Guests who scan see "This event has not started accepting photos yet." You can still open the wall and test the guest page yourself.
  • Active: guests can share. Use this for the event itself.
  • Ended: sharing is closed. Guests see that the event has ended. Everything already shared stays, and you can still approve, download and make a recap.

Open sharing on the day

  1. Open your event and go to Overview.
  2. Under Event Status, click Active.
  3. Scan your own QR code to check the guest page says the wall is live.

Pause sharing for a while

There's no separate pause button. To stop new posts for a while, either set the status back to Draft, or turn off every type under Guests → What Guests Can Share and click Save. Guests then see "Sharing is paused". Turn them back on when you're ready.

Tip

Set the event to Ended when the party is over, so late or accidental posts don't arrive overnight.
